Goodness me, what an honour it is to be nominated this year for a Davitt Award 2022, which is organised and judged by the leading ladies of Sisters in Crime Australia.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have been nominated for the Queensland Literary Awards for my latest novel, Lady Vigilante (Season Two).

We are planning to create an old-style radio serial! There will be different voices for all the characters, jazz & 1940s music, sound effects, and all the bells and whistles!

Switching chapters between two protagonists, this wartime novel about spies and secrets was an interesting and lovely one to listen to on audiobook.

In April 2017, I took a VERY long flight from Brisbane, Australia over to New York (hello, jet-lag!) on a special bookish holiday!

Creating and producing the book trailer was a really new experience for me, and one I won’t easily forget. It was absolutely fantastic.

While you’ve been kicking back lately catching up on Game of Thrones (and who could blame you…), a team of researchers in China have unearthed the fossil of what they believe to be, the earliest known bird.

I got to play cave-woman for a few days (and ouch, hand punching/ sewing through six layers of leather was hard on the fingers!). But, like any creative process, the end result was definitely worth it.
